Jamie Carragher ugh !!

Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

I do not usually agree with what Carragher normally say's but onthis occasion he has my comlete backing and agreement , in as much his comments about Ten Hag , He stated much to Gary Neville's upset that he (TenHag) Should be be made accountable for the demise of the team ,and therefore assume full responsibility after all he is the boss (isn't he ) Gary argued that he felt that most if not all the problem's are down to solely the Glazers . I see his point but i also believe that as Manager's go this man his /has tread so much water it would sink the titanic . All his buy's thus far are as far as i am concerned "RUBBUSH" ok he has had injuries , but for me he is NOT man-management material !!! One only has to look how he handled Ronaldo /now Jadon Sancho i make no apologies the guy has not got the temperament to handle such a big club with it also big name stars , although i do hate to say this but i believe we need desperately a clean -out top to bottom . Until that happens the club the fans cannot and will not ever see any improvement
One has to just ask what wouldhave happened if he had been in charge of say a Championship or DIV 1 team ??????? I think we all know what that answer would be !!!

GB, I presume the manager plans tactics, oversees training, picks the team and has a good say in who comes and goes, so in that respect Carragher is correct. I again would presume the Glazers, half the time don't know what's going on at the club except for how much money they can make off it, so they can't be blamed for the results. It's been over ten years since utd was a force in football when Fergie was in charge and for a club of their stature not acceptable. It could also be they are not as good, to attract the best players.....just a thought...

It woudnt be a good idea to sack the manager at this moment in time i m o .
Having said that rumours are circulating that he will resign and take the vacant managers job at AJAX.
Just rumours mind but possibly no smoke without fire .We will see.

the only way the glazers will sell & that,s if united go down . i,m afraid that if it,s not right at the top then it,s certainly not going to be right at the bottom .

Hi folks ,thanks for your letters ,i note today S.J.R. is saying he is firing off the dutch people SEG who were /are responsible along with Ten Hag for the recruitment of players . He goes on to write HE will now take that responsibility on board. Thus MR.G . there could be your take on him heading back to Holland maybe ???
I also note intoday's paper talk our old friend Arsene Venger writing an article were he claims that "" Man .UTD . are NO HOPERS "" and it saddens him tremendously that the club have fallen so far, just like to add it is a truly SAD thing when a person like him starts to admit his pity for United .
AS for myself i am at a stage now of utter despair at what the hell is going on with this
once great club? It does annoy when after Sunday Ten Hag comes out with remarks that"""WE ARE MOVING FORWARD & ARE GETTING THERE """" PLEASE TELL ME HOW CAN A PROFESSIONAL MANAGER COME OUT WITH SUCH RUBBISH??? IT'S JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Rent free I tell you

Go on inform the good folk of Wigan World how long it is after you wake up in a morning that I first pop into your head

And wouldn't you think the bloke who pebble dashed his living room floor through his backside the last time I put him on the spot would be a little more circumspect?
But no amount of embarrassment will stop the forum fool from seeking the attention he craves

Keep changing Managers like United did between the retirement of Busby and the appointment of Ferguson and since his retirement the same happening again is not the answer to the problems that now exist at the club.

The simple truth is that many of the players at United are not up to the United standard of the past and never will be under the present ownership as proved by the new ownerships of City and more recently Newcastle etc.

Even the Under 21 team is no longer the power it used to be as proved in a EFL Trophy game, where they were beaten 8-1 by weaken Bolton team from Division One which would never have happened in the days of the Busby Babes and the Ferguson Class of '92' etc

United need to get better owners with bigger investment to restore the club to the level of other top Premiership Clubs.

The simple truth is the attitude many of the players absolutely stinks! They are spineless whinging whining moaners who won't even put a decent shift in. You talk about lack of investment? How much have they spent on Fernandes, Maguire, Sancho, Antony, Martial, Casemiro, Hojlund, Mount, Arambat, Varane, Martinez, Eriksen and others? Are you saying none of those are up to United standards? I think it's pretty obvious that too many of the current squad are just money grabbing prima donna's with absolutely no pride in either themselves the club or the manager.
